Level of sensation varies per individual. Prior to and during the procedure Gayle will apply a topical anesthetic (numbing solution) to the subject area.

How long will the procedure take?

The procedures may take anywhere from 1 to 2 hours total time from the time you enter my office until you are ready to leave.

What if a mistake is made?

If an improvement upon shape is required, a sanitized applicator is used to draw the eyebrows or lips on prior to starting the procedure.
You'll be able to see and approve the shape before we start the application.

How does Gayle know where to place my eyebrows?

Everyone has a designated area determined by their bone structure. We use these guide line to apply the best brow for your face.

How will Gayle choose an appropriate color?

For your eyebrows we take into consideration the color of your skin undertones and natural eyebrow color.
As with lips, most women wear the same color or similar color, because it is what best complements their skin.

After the procedure can I apply an alternative color?

Yes, You will just have to take into consideration that you are dealing with a different starting canvas color.

Can Gayle make my lips have a more full look?

Yes, Lip correction is a specialty of Gayle's. Not only for the woman who just wants her lips enlarged,
but the man or woman who might be suffering from some type of deformity from birth or an accident.

What if I have eyeliner applied and styles change?

Gayle is always conservative with the application of permanent make-up.
You can always add more for that special occasion, unless of course, you absolutely want it permanently applied. Then you will be accommodated.

What if I want to change my eyebrow or lip color following the original procedure?

This can be done as the colors integrate to change the original color implanted.

How long will the permanent cosmetics last?

Some fading will be noticed, the amount of fading noticed is dependent upon the patients lifestyle and starting color.
Permanent Cosmetics will last indefinitely.

BOTOX® Cosmetic is a prescription medicine that is injected into muscles and used to improve the look of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines) in people 18 to 65 years of age for a short period of time (temporary).

BOTOX® Cosmetic is administered by a healthcare professional as a simple, nonsurgical treatment that is injected directly into the muscles between the brows. It works by blocking nerve impulses to the injected muscles. This reduces muscle activity that causes moderate to severe lines to form between the brows. Individual results may vary.

What to expect from BOTOX^® treatment

Within days, you may see a marked improvement in the moderate-to-severe frown lines between your brows. Lines continue to improve for up to 30 days, and results can last for up to 4 months. Individual results may vary.

Is treatment with BOTOX^® Cosmetic painful?

Discomfort is usually minimal and brief. Prior to injection, your physician may choose to numb the area with a cold pack or anesthetic cream. The entire procedure takes approximately 10 minutes. Most patients are in and out of the physician’s office without downtime following BOTOX® Cosmetic treatment.

Side effects associated with the injection include localized pain, infection, inflammation, tenderness, swelling, swelling, redness, and/or bleeding/bruising.

What are the possible side effects of BOTOX^® Cosmetic?

What will happen to the moderate to severe frown lines between my brows if I choose not to continue treatments?

If you do not continue treatments, the moderate-to-severe frown lines between your brows will gradually return to the way they looked before treatment.

Additionally, JUVÉDERM® XC is formulated with lidocaine for a more comfortable treatment experience† 1. How long does treatment usually take?

The injection process generally takes only about 15 minutes.

How long will an application last?

No. Correction is temporary; therefore, touch-up injections as well as repeat injections are usually needed to maintain optimal corrections.

What are the possible side effects of JUVÉDERM® XC injectable gel?

Most side effects are mild or moderate in nature, and their duration is short lasting (7 days or less). The most common side effects include, but are not limited to, temporary injections site reactions such as redness, pain/tenderness, firmness, swelling, lumps/bumps, bruising, itching, and discoloration. Can people with different skin tones/colors be treated with JUVÉDERM®?

Yes. In fact, JUVÉDERM® injectable gel is the first FDA-approved hyaluronic acid dermal filler that has proven its safety and effectiveness in persons of color. Studies with JUVÉDERM® showed no increased risk of hyperpigmentation or hypertrophic scarring in patients of color 1.
