Gayle is a world renowned and exceptional Permanent Makeup Artist. She frequently has clients travel from as far as Greece and Italy to see her.

In 1987 Gayle returned to her original passion, The Beauty Industry.  In 1989 opened her first Permanent Hair Removal and Skin Care office in Orland Park, IL.

With ongoing requests from patients for help with their eyebrow reconstruction and correction, Gayle decided to expand her services and began studying permanent cosmetic makeup under a renowned physician in California. By the early 1990's she was certified in the application of tattooing permanent cosmetics.

Her driving force, to see the smile on her patients face, the joy in their eyes, and enthusiasm their voice as they return to thank her for helping change their face and life for the better. Over the years Gayle has worked on patients whom have suffered from birth defects, accident victims, burn survivors and alopecia suffers.

Gayle has assisted cancer patients that have had breast reconstruction, as well as those in need of their eyebrows or eyelashes to be enhanced or totally replaced. Over the years she has worked on many patients which required a complete overhaul of their esthetic look which enabled the client to regain inner peace.

Through the Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals Gayle holds the accreditation of CPCP (Certification Permanent Cosmetic Professionals) and SME (Subject Matter Expert).   Gayle is 1 of 15 Subject Matter Experts worldwide.

Electrolysis is one of two procedures that will Permanently remove any unwanted hair for both men and women.

For Electrolysis, disposable sterile probes are used on all patients.  Bodyworks by Gayle not only complies with all OSHA standards of sanitation and sterilization, they far exceed all requirements. 

We use the Blend method, which is a combination of galvanic and thermolysis.  With this method we are able to cut the total treatment time in half compared to straight thermolysis.  Electrolysis is a must for all hair that is Blonde, White or Gray, or in shaping the lower section of the eyebrows.

The eyebrows are an extremely important feature.  Gayle will make certain my eyebrows look fabulous and fit my face for the very best look.

Lite Lift

This is a Photo-rejuvenation Therapy that is based on Important research by NASA which has proved that certain frequencies of light significantly increases new tissue growth, the synthesis of collagen and overall healing time after injury or surgery.  This treatment also helps to reduce overall redness of Rosacea through its LED Light Therapy.  This treatment will also plump up your lips.  There is no down time with this treatment.

Frequently Asked Questions about Permanent Makeup
Is the procedure painful?

Level of sensation varies per individual.  Prior to and during the procedure Gayle will apply a topical anesthetic (numbing solution) to the subject area.

How long will the procedure take?

The procedures may take anywhere from 1 to 2 hours total time from the time you enter my office until you are ready to leave.

What if a mistake is made?

If an improvement upon shape is required, a sanitized applicator is used to draw the eyebrows or lips on prior to starting the procedure. 
You'll be able to see and approve the shape before we start the application.

How does Gayle know where to place my eyebrows?

Everyone has a designated area determined by their bone structure.  We use these guide line to apply the best brow for your face.

How will Gayle choose an appropriate color?

For your eyebrows we take into consideration the color of your skin undertones and natural eyebrow color.
As with lips, most women wear the same color or similar color, because it is what best complements their skin.





After the procedure can I apply an alternative color?

Yes, You will just have to take into consideration that you are dealing with a different starting canvas color.

Can Gayle make my lips have a more full look?

Yes, Lip correction is a specialty of Gayle's.  Not only for the woman who just wants her lips enlarged,
but the man or woman who might be suffering from some type of deformity from birth or an accident.

What if I have eyeliner applied and styles change?

Gayle is always conservative with the application of permanent make-up. 
You can always add more for that special occasion,  unless of course, you absolutely want it permanently applied. Then you will be accommodated.

How soon may I schedule an appoitnment?

What if I want to change my eyebrow or lip color following the original procedure?

This can be done as the colors integrate to change the original color implanted.

How long will the permanent makeup last?

Some fading will be noticed, the amount of fading noticed is dependent upon the patients lifestyle and starting color.
Permanent Makeup will last indefinitely.
